2/5 - 6/5x = 7/5

Move the number to the other side:
- 6/5x= 1

Find x:
x= - 5/6

then, solve 5x:
5 x -5/6= -25/6

simplifies to -4 1/6

You will get two different answers to this question because we're not sure if the (x) is in the denominator of that fraction or if it's multiplied by the whole fraction. I assumed it was in the denominator, which means your answer would be:

2/5 - 6/5x = 7/5
-6/5x = 7/5 - 2/5
-6/5x = 5/5 or simplified -6/5x = 1
-6 = 5x

This is correct, and I assume this is what you're asking for since you want '5x', and not 'x' which would be a weird fraction.

2/5 - 6/5(x) = 7/5

Each term is over 5, so you can multiply each yerm by 5:

2 - 6x = 7

Equate like terms:

-5 = 6x

Divide by 6:

-5/6 = x

Therefore 5x = -25/6

if 2/5 - 6/5x = 7/5, then
-6x/5 = 7/5 - 2/5 = 1
-6x = 5
x = -5/6
5x = -25/6
