morning confirmed that. I only felt a little dizzy and weak when I woke up, but I had a few sips of orange juice and almost immediately, I began to have that nauseous puke feeling. It was bothering me so much, I stuck finger down my throat to make myself puke. Sorry, if this is disturbing. Anyway, that worked. I drank some water, and I know I should eat something. I haven't eaten since 9 last night. Am I just feeling this way because it's my body's currently messed up way of saying it needs food, or should I wait until it goes away to eat? Right now, just looking at a cereal bar makes me sick. Do I force myself to eat and drink and not wait for any feeling to kick in? Also, since this is the first hangover I've had, how long can this torture last?

Well, I just drank a glass of water, and immediately it came back up. I have no clue what to do if my body is rejecting water. Is pedialyte alright? I guess the best thing about puking just now was that I was wearing a fleece jacket and all that action made me perspire a bit.

I'm a college student, so calling in for work is not a consequence of getting drunk yet. I did skip all my classes though. It would have been miserable to go to class because of the bright lights and just trying to sit up.

Yeah, that first hangover is the hardest, brings back some memories, LOL. Well, you learned Lesson # 1 the hard way- DO NOT EVER drink any liquids on an empty stomach whilst you're still hung over. I have always found that plain, unbuttered toast is good for this sort of thing- just try to cram it down your face, and you should start feeling less queasy immediately. Some people swear by the "hair of the dog" method- drinking a little bit of whatever got you so drunk last night to make you feel better, but I, for one, can't even tolerate the smell of alcohol when I'm feeling all happy-go-pukey. Seriously, try the toast, and if you do have a beverage, make sure it's something fizzy like Coke or ginger ale. The bubbles will settle your stomach. Poor thing!

Try and eat something, usually i feel much better after eating if I have a bad hangover. Whatever you do, don't take painkillers or anything like that if you haven't eaten. It could upset your stomach and make you throw up more. Drink plenty of fluids, if you can stomach more orange juice, then drink as much as you can, vitamin c works wonders for a hangover. Try eating eggs and meat, if you can. I know it's not the healthiest thing on the planet, but a good breakfast burrito if you can get your hands on one :D You need the nutrients in the food to build your strength back up.

You'll feel fine, it's your body's way of telling you that you've poisoned it. The vomiting is a way of clearing out your system, getting rid of anything in there that might still be having an adverse effect. If it's as bad as you say it is, you'll probably feel rough for the rest of the day, but you will feel better as the day goes on and come tomorrow, you'll be fine. Try and get an early night and sleep it off.

In the future, know your limits, learn how much you can drink and what you can drink without you getting sick.

A big glass of Irn Bru, Scotland's hangover cure! Tastes really good too although Diet Irn Bru's better, even if you aren't in Scotland try and get a hold of it and try it. Sleep most of it off too, take a paracetamol or some sort of pill, try and not take anything too strong as you still have alcohol in your blood stream. Keep a basin next to you for being sick, drink loads of water to wash out the toxins too and each time you need the toilet go straight away. I'll be like this nearly all the time over the Summer holidays hopefully" House parties, whoop! Hope I helped!
