My friend hit her head today at school..badly. She said she felt dizzy, was kinda nauseous, and has a severe headache. She went to the nurse who checked her eyes then gave her an icepack. 15 min later when we were in the tech lab i noticed soemthign severley wrong. She couldnt spell her own name, or the word seed!! She was having a lot of confusion too. Then she said all of a sudden she could see extremely WELL. She said her vision was perect, and she is nearsighted and has glasses. So i told her she had better see the doctor. She refused, because she was supposed to meet her dad after school and go get a flu shot at longs drugs, and she is COMPLETELY TERRIFIED of shots. She came to my house to avoid her dad, and is refusiing to tell them what happened. Could soemone please explain how serious this is to her? I triied to tell her it could be deadly, but she doesnt believe me!!

LMAO

she's a DRAMA QUEEN

ignore her.....and don't get involved in her drama. She's doing it for attention---she sees how worried you are and she's feeding off it.

don't be naive

If she had a concussion, the nurse should have been able to tell. My friend told me this. I would recommend she still went to the doctor--tell her that if she is worried about shots, she wants to take care of it before it gets serious. If it gets serious, then they will probably have to draw her blood, and the thought of that makes ME woozy.

Good luck, and don't let her push you around.

She is experiencing a concussion but she could also end up with a blood clot from the injury which could be fatal or she could end up with permanant brain damage. Most likely it will be fine in time but never mess around with head injuries. We only have so many brain cells and once we kill them off they dont regrow.

Tell her if she winds up paralyzed, it could be forever in a wheelchair. Call her parents and tell them or tell your parents.
