I have a few questions...

In pregnancy, when are bladder infections most common, early or later in pregnancy?

How does having a UTI affect your chances to conceive that month?

Does having a bladder infection cause increases in watery CM?

According to my chart I am only on CD 16 (it feels like it's been a lot longer than that). I have a urinary tract infection (not an STD, was checked for all of those in August, all tests came back negative). I've been sick to my stomach, don't want to eat even if I'm hungry because NOTHING sounds good, tired a lot, and a big increase in CM. What's going on?

Hey girl!!! UTI's are common in pregnancy. But I had a UTI last cycle and wasn't pregnant. You could be ovulating right now and that could be the cause for the change in your cm. A UTI can cause all of your symptoms because it can just make you feel plain sick. See your doctor to get treated for your UTI. You will have to wait and see if you did conceive or not. I know it is hard and you have been waiting a long time.

Here is a little update on me. I am on day 15 today and have gotten 4 positive opk's (day 12,13,14,and 15). I also had ewcm day 13 and day 14. So of course we bd on all of these days. My temp is starting to rise but FF hasn't detected ovulation yet.

Keep us posted and I will be praying for you!!!

Well with my first child I had them all the time. UTI's that is. With my second child that is how I found out I was pregnant. I swore I wasn't pregnant but went to the doctor for UTI symptoms. Guess what, I was pregnant. This pregnancy I haven't had any so far.

It honestly could be many things. I mean you could maybe have conceived two days ago but I wouldn't think you would be having symptoms already. It could be because of the UTI that you are having these symptoms. It could be because you just ovulated.

You are going to have to wait it out for another couple weeks and test. At least another 10 days.

Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!

I found out about my unexpected pregnancy when I went to the doctor for a urinary tract infection. I was almost 10 weeks along, so from my experience I would say that UTI's are common in the beginning of a pregnancy.

UTI's are common in early pregnancy,my sister was around 5weeks pregnant when she found out she was pregnant and she also found out that she had an UTI also and the doctor told her that UTI's are common in early pregnancy. All those symptoms you have are some signs of pregnancy but they also can be from something else, the only way you'll know if it's the real thing this time (which I hope it is) wait and see if AF shows her evil face or you get a BFP (which I hope you do).Best of luck to you, hope this is the real thing and you get your BFP soon!Sending you truck loads of baby dust!

Bladder infections occur later in pregnancy, as well as yeast infections. Having a bladder infection CAN cause changes in CM, but not necessarily. There are lots of reasons CM can suddenly change. Mine just went from thick one day to EWCM without ovulating, to watery then back to thick...for pretty much no reason.

Remember, the strong desire for a baby can trigger 'false' symptoms, liek your body feelign like your mind WANTS it to feel...so try and relax and get throught the 2WW! I hope this is your month!
