This is of course a hypothetical question.

These are your only choices:
1. A known Christian community?
2. A known Muslim community?

Please state your political persuasion and religion (or lack thereof).

I'd go with the Christians, they would bore the hell out of me with their lectures on the evils of homosexuality but the Muslims would kill me.
I'm a Gay Republican Atheist. I'm a retired soldier too if that has any bearing on anything.

I've heard the lament:

"What happened to the unity and patriotism we had on the day that cynicism died, September 11th 2001?"

Well, apparently it did not survive the next graduating class as I predicted.

I've heard the lament:
"What this country needs is another disaster to unite us again"

Well, there have been other disasters, not the least of which was Katrina. We only saw the division grow deeper, the vitriol stronger and more vicious and the finger pointing more proficient.
Instead of anger for our enemies we now have loathing for each other.
The terrorists are winning. They have managed to create a stink in our society that has many of us looking upon an animal like Saddam Hussein more sympathetically than our own president.

When the next attack comes, I will not seek shelter at all. I'm done.

They can all bicker over my bones.

I am going to go where the Mountie tells me to go -

That's my plan Although the Minister of defence has signed a agreement to allow US troops into Canada should an emergency occur I have no intention of recognizing any authority that is not Canadian - If that means I get shot then I get shot

I am one of 30 million Canadians and intend to go seek shelter with them

My hope is that someday we all wake up. That there can not be second and third class citizens in our nation or we have no nation at all

i've got faith their would be an attack on London first then u . s . of america, OR a simultaneous attack on the two. i think of that the terrorists will wait until they have a nuclear weapon then attack u . s . of america, in all probability in long island, i think of that they might drop a bomb the place the 1st significant attack got here approximately, if this occurred then they might kill thousands and thousands in a straight away and declare astonishing victory. end- sure, in all probability in long island yet could desire to be everywhere

Well, the safest place to seek shelter is with a Muslim community. United they will not target their own, therefore the place least likely to be attacked.
Also I would want to see this communities response. Anything out of the ordinary could be reported.
Also, a conservative believer.

1. I am Christian and a Libertarian crossed with a Radical politically.

2. I would choose to seek shelter in a Muslim community and keep a low profile. I would be looking for acceptance and might even pretend to convert to their faith. Once I knew who supported the attack and who kept their mouth shut either do to fear or because they did not care. I would also know who opposed. Once the goats were separated from the sheep then the dying would begin. Attack is the best defense and my oath is to defend the country and its constitution.

Considering how Muslim terrorists targeting other Muslims.
I would stick with the Christians.
Those who think they will be safe with atheists ask those on 9/11 did planes avoid the atheists or do bombs kill only people of faith and not atheists.

I don't believe in "choices" such as those. The safest place I can be is behind the sights of my trusty M-1A1 and to be sure I have plenty of ammo!!!!
