For the first four years of my life I was brought up in Derby, seeing a lot of my two Northern Irish aunties (married to my Dad's brothers), my Irish Nana and my Hungarian Granddad. I then moved to Middlesbrough, and so my accent changed over the years. So I've got a bit of a mix in terms of accent!

Apparently I either sound posh, or like a man.

I've just recently moved back to Derby to go to University - the other students know that I'm not from around here anymore, yet when I'm in Middlesbrough, the people know I'm not originally from Middlesbrough! So what sort of accent do I have?! - I've got no idea!

In conclusion; no, I don't really like it! Lol...

I have never heard my own voice, although I have done two voice overs for projects in my home city.

When I am speaking in person I don't mind it, but I think I sound awful when I hear myself on the phone or on a home movie.

I prefer how I hear myself as opposed to how I actually sound.
