I know how to do it but I don't have a calculator to take the 5th root of something.

- 5 root of (0.323) + 1 = D
The 0.323 is under the fifth root but the 1 is outside of it as well as the negative in front of the root.

D = - (.323)^(1/5) +1
D= - 0.7977 + 1 = .2023

not many calculator has a 5th root fn, but some has a x^y

5th root is when y= 1/5

Alternatively, use log and 10^x

log 0.323 = -0.49

divide by 5 = -0.098

then take 10^x = 0.8
