My current boyfriend and I have been together for 1.5 yr. He already asked me to marry him ( I said NO) He is 22 and I am 20 he wants to spend the rest of his life with me he says. i am his first real girlfriend his first kiss first EVERYTHING. I am not sure if we really have a chance of being together exclusivley forever, or is he more prone to want to experience other things? I am comitted to him 100%, but I am the one who is experienced.

I don't think the fact that you are his "first" has anything to do with whether he will cheat. You are both young, and I can understand why you don't want to jump into marriage. But, if his level of commitment continues, I see no reason why he would suddenly begin to cheat later.

statistically speaking more people break up/divorce when they got together at your age than those that stay together "forever" and sex is just one reason why they don't last.

my friends tell me that i could never fathom what it's like to be married with children, a mortgage and having all the added pressure of providing for them on my own.

they're right, and no matter how much i love something, i'm not going to consider her for a wife until i'm 100% sure that those are the things i'm ready to do with all of my time and energy.

Not any more or less than any other guy. Life doesn't come with a guarantee and neither does relationships.

Sounds like you aren't very committed to him at all if you can't trust that he is committeed to you... If you doubt him at all, YOU are not committed.
