while i haven't heard much about this case, i don't think it matters what weapon the kid used. If he really wanted to kill somebody at the school he would have done it, gun or no gun.

Now he could have gotten the gun from his house or another family member meaning he had easy access to all of this, but I wouldn't blame the family -totally- the kid was just using his resources. The kid knew he wouldn't have to buy a gun when he could steal one from his family who didn't have it locked up (that is where the family is at fault).

But if he baught it on the street corner or in a back alley you would blame the kid, not the one who sold it to him. Because that means the kid was planning to do this and went out and saught the means to buy it.

I mean if you really want to get crazy you could blame video games that have guns in them. Maybe that is all he played, maybe those drove him to shoot people at his school - but I doubt it.

The gun was most likely received from the black market. The kid was like 15? Anybody can get a gun. Even if guns were made illegal anybody could still get a gun. This case here is way different than that of the kid at V.T.

The killer is the one that did it, he's the one that's responsible. The owner isn't responsible for this punk getting the guns unless the owner gave the guns to him
