especially Paramore, and AFI both bands were amazing, and then MTV got a hold of them and drove them into the ground.

Since when does a network become so consumed with over-the-top lifestyles they forget to play music - and the network is called Music Television??

If I were a band and they wanted to get an article or special up for me I'd tell them to take a long walk of a short pier.

Fall out boy is a prime example. That and Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, and Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer.

MTV is good if you are the kind of person who likes being told what to think, like most teenagers or daily mail readers.

To be fair, MTV has turned me on to some pretty decent bands.

It's been a while, though.

Um...Daughtry is the latest one I can think of.

No. I'm only disappointed when a band compromises their music or style to be more marketable.
