I know there are exceptions, but why do you think this is usually the case?

I know that a lot of people say that women want sex just as much as men. If that is the case, then women would rather be manipulative then give in to there urges. I guess men are just more honest.

First of all, don't generalize that statement, cause the problem is with 'some women', as for me, I crave sex with the best of men and always have. Women, as young girls are raised to say 'no' in response to men's advances for sex...in some cases, a leverage point is taught to women and that desiring sex is a bad thing...unethical so to speak. Bunk, it is wonderful, if you just give into it in a healthy, moralistic way. Yes, men do look at sex differently and the only reason they crave it so much is that it is denied to them more often than they get it.

men are visual and women are emotional. Men don't have to care for someone to have sex if what they see visually turns them on. They are not thinking, they are just reacting. Women think about the guy and try to create an emotional bond. Men can forget a girl after sex and move on. Women feel like they have given themselves to the man and become part of that man's life physically and emotionally. That's why men don't feel guilty about having sex so much. they don't make it an emotional issue like women do.

I crave sex with my bf when I'm in a relationship, I could have it every day or more than once every day. But I don't crave casual sex with people I'm not emotionally attached to.

It is the way we are made and created.

However, it is funny how so many people unnknowingly associate sex for men, and cherishing or attention for women, and simply separate the two without understanding that "sex" for men is the type of love men need. And for women, care, romance or emotional needs is the way to show love for women.

It's really not about "sex", it's about "love" and meeting the needs of the partner the way they need to be loved.

Depends on the age too. Sexual piques vary for both...shame on our bodies for doing that to us! Men peak at 18-24, women in their 30s.

I think that to a man, it's easier to have sex with random partners because his maleness is outside of his body. For women I think it's harder to give up because it's very invasive, you know? Also the stigma attached to a woman who sleeps around is negative while the stigma attached to a man who sleeps around is seen as god status by other males.

It's all about the biological needs that we have to carry our genes on to future generations.

Testosterone. Both men and women have it. But generally men have more of it. You will notice that, for a woman who has a very strong sex drive, she typically has levels of testosterone that are greater than that of an average woman.

It's just a matter of distribution: we crave more things besides sex (chocolate, new shoes, matching purse, etc.).
