In a relationsip why is it that when a woman holds out on sex the guy isnt interested in the woman anymore? Are ALL men like this or just most men? I have been dating this guy for almost two months now I like him and he likes me, but I have told him Im not ready for sex. For men sex is just physical, but for a woman its physical and its emotional. Once a woman has sex with a guy she is in some way emotionally attached to him. WHY dont men understand that? Im not ready to be emotionally attached like that. Sex is so private and intimate so its not just physical for women. Is it POSSIBLE to date a guy and NOT have sex for the first several months? Or not? I would love to hear some men's opinions!

when guys ask for sex from you and then back off of you when they dont get it....they never really saw you as girlfriend material...or maybe they did but only the "for now" kinda girl with whom he can have fun and do everything and anything he wanted with until he finds a better girl. so dont give him too much thought if thats what he did to you cuz he didnt care about you in the first place

"A trillion here, a trillion there, pretty soon you're talking about real money." Former congressman. So, YOU"RE THE ONE who caused our National Budget to be out of whack! Sorry to hear the disappointing news. If I were you I would rush down to the county social welfare office and apply for general relief and food stamps right away. You may get a slight raise in benefits. Good luck Titou. Edit: Loved your post KK. So, that's what a trillion dollars looks like - it's just a bunch of paper, right? I'd start cultivating that emergency veggie garden tomorrow, but I don't think I could keep my neighbors out of it if things got really tough. I will put my emergency money into buying a boat instead. I can always fish off the coast of Catalina Is.

First of all I agree with you that for women sex is physical and emotional! However, My B/F and my self dated for around seven months before I actually initiated sex! He was the picture of supreme self control because some of our dates were really steamy but he never tried to push it! Today we are staying together for three years and cannot get enough of each other! Today I think a lot of girls are pushing the sex button not the guys!!!

i totally agree with you but if you find the right guy then he will wait for you until you are ready, but a guy just wants you because he wants to have sex with you then you shouldn't be with him.

if a guy is WORTH it, he will wait.
most guys don't because there are more than enough girls out there that will sleep with them & they don't have to work for it.
you have to find the one that wants to KNOW you not just sleep with you.
you'll find him.
the holding out time is more of the "weeding out the losers" time so if he won't wait, you don't have anything to lose...drop him & find someone else.
you'd feel worse if you slept with him & then he stopped talking to you, wouldn't you? so why give him anything?
