No, not at all. I was kind of outraged by the fact that he didn't tell Sharpton to screw off and let him [Imus] deal with the situation privately and quietly. I'm pretty sure that the media circus only served to further exacerbate the humiliation of the basketball team who were minding their own business and didn't deserve either Imus' comment or the drama that it brought. At least I would have been more embarrassed by it. But, on the bright side, at least Sharpton got his name in the papers and his face on TV which is always his objective so at least someone was happy.

Anyone can deserve a second chance, but your comments appear to be driven only to inflame this situation.
If Don Imus can come back and behave himself, watch his fat mouth and not make racial slurs, using common sense, why not? We are all imperfect people and we make mistakes, but those who are sorry and have learned from their stupidity deserve a second chance.
Thing is, I don't think Don Imus is fully regrettable for his pewky behavior. I think he's got an arrogant, still bigoted attitude of "I'm gonna call in my attorneys to force this situation" instead of "I'd like to come back for a second chance as I am sorry for my outrageous comments and I guess I really wasn't thinking when I said what I said about those girls. I regret it now".
I don't see him being decently redeemable, but arrogant and prideful. We'll see, but everyone deserves a second chance if they are truly remorseful. I have my doubts about this cat. I have reservations about your inflammatory attitude as well. You'd probably be in the same position as he was because your attitude is nasty and hateful.

I never knew who he was until the whole incident occured!
Even then I thought it was between him and that basketball team. I had nothing to do with that!
There are other disc-jockey's who have said worse!
Oh- well!
Peace!

NOT AT ALL, I'll be very happy for him and I'll wish he could be able to show his middle finger to the hypocrites racists at the ACLU.
