Look up the monologue "Please God I'm Only Seventeen" It's about a girl who dies before school one morning in a car crash and is watching events unfold after her death like being covered up after being declared dead, seeing her father identify her body, and watching her friends attend her memorial service then pleading to God not to actually be dead yet. Then she's buried.

The movie scene from Terms of Endearment where the daughter is dying from breast cancer and the mother is begging the nurses to give her the pain shot that has become past due. Trust me... there won't be a dry eye in the house.
If you have not seen the movie.... Blockbuster always keeps a copy in the store.
