Yes
I had a neighbor that had problems with his homosexuality
and kept committing suicide and being saved from succeeding
the law in that state required repeat suiciders to be committed
He told me much about his time spent in "med-lockup'
If he was telling truth then those institutions are sicker than their clients

Yes. My father. Several times. For attempted suicide, which honestly I think was more a cry for help/attention... He was a medical professional, so if he really wanted to do himself in, he would have.
Although, he really thought that taking the defibrillator to his head would work... That was the last time he tried, and that was about 16 years ago. He's still alive, but he has a lot of medical problems, still, including clinical depression.

It was recommended for me though by a high school teacher based upon the pictures in my drawing pad. The primary pictures that promoted her to say this was portraits I did of Clint
Eastwood, Charles Bronson, and Lee Marvin. She said those men represented violent America.

After 12+ years of EMS work..my answer has to be yes. But I don't understand why you would be asking such a thing..especially on a forum such as the world wide web. People do have the legal right to private medical records..and that's what this question is about.

Just because I like a little padding on the walls and straight jackets turn me on, doesn't mean I would know anything about this subject.
