I have a problem that is intermiten . When I drive the car the speedo will stop woking. ocassinily the brake pedal will pulsate, then the spedo works and the headlight (left on) warning flashes. When I turn on the headlights the spedo cuts out and the headlights are not working. The temp gauge jumps around. It seems like a bad ground.

Horn does not work. Brakes are really fine. Its only the pedal that pulses and it sound like a selinoid is attached or something electrical that is moving the pedal.

I own a shop, and think this; Any time you have multiple problems with stuff like that, it can be contributed to a bad ground, or low voltage to circuits. Check to see if the ground strap that runs from the engine to the fire wall is off, loose, corroded, and/or not making a good connection. Also check the ground wire that come from the (-) terminal of the battery to the body/frame. Some vehicles has a ground for the dash that is spring loaded and when the dash is tightened in place it cuts into the fire wall. These are bad to do all kinds of weird stuff. If the brake pedal pulsates, then that is the ABS brake unit getting a signal from a wheel that it is not turning, thus when it activates, you will in fact feel this, and hear a solenoid sound. I have ran a separate ground wire from the engine to the dash, and attached it with bolts.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

maximum folk has spoken....Mitsubishi Galant is the better selection. The Galant has better comments than the Cavalier. The Cavalier is a smaller motor vehicle and a very subject-loose transportation. The Galant a minimum of has plenty better centers with better indoors high quality than the Cavalier. The Cavalier is only clunky.
