my friend and i are doing a math fair project and our topic we chose was hockey,we know there is math involved in hockey like things that have to do with angles but were not quite sure how to piece it all together,if anyone can help by giving us some answers or possibly a website that can help us that would be great.

there is alot of math in hockey, ranging from angles and shot power to statistics and ice time ratios.

A few ideas off the top of my head include the forces of numbers. When a player is put in the penalty box, the number of players on the ice changes, thus giving another team advantage by one.

Angles of trajectory are affected by the angle the player holds his stick when he's aiming at the net. If he's off, then the shot misses.
