the universe

the point of this is to show that there has always been something before the universe was created. And if you consider "infinite possibilities" God CAN exist, but probably not the old white bearded one in the bible.

I suggest staying away from the bible. It doesn't teach anything factual and it doesn't support free thinking. Its a brain washing tool and I'm proud that you can "see the light"
Keep asking questions. the more you ask, the more the bible will start to fall apart, and the truth will be seen
genisis said god created the earth and heavens right?
the one question the bible doesn't answer is HOW.
and if it took 6 days, then god must only exist on earth, because a day is relative to earth only. ALL other planets have different lengths of DAYS.
so that answer doesn't fit with the rest of the ENTIRE universe.
its a very primative idea that the universe revolves around the earth. I think its time we wiped the brainwashing from our eyes.
P.S.
the church KILLED people that thought the earth was round.

1) The Big Bang theory explains how the universe evolved AFTER it was created. In fact, the theory cannot be "pushed back" beyond the Planck time (a very, very, very short time after creation). So, the Big Bang is silent about creation itself. The hypothesis on which the theory is based (the primordial atom) was proposed by a Christian priest who was a scientist and an astronomer.
2) The theory of evolution describes how races evolve once life exists. It is rather silent about how life itself came into being. However, its principles could, at the limit, be extended before first life existed and explain how chemical reactions could have eventually favored self-replication. But that would make it a different theory. Evolution itself is silent about how life came about; it only deals with what happens once you do have life.
3) The Bible (actually Genesis, not the whole Bible) presents one of many hypotheses that were going around about four to five thousand years ago. It just happens to be the one that became most popular in our Western Civilization. Unfortunately, the hypothesis is not supported by means to test it. Therefore, it cannot form a proper theory.
Also, those who propose that the Bible does answer the questions also insist on imposing certain interpretations that are not consistent with the Bible itself nor with what we can observe (e.g., the 6,000 year old Earth thing that was pushed by Ussher into the English-speaking world; other cultures use different numbers, all developed at the time of the Western European Renaissance).
4) There are various modern hypotheses about creation. So far, all of them suffer from the same problem: no means to test them (e.g., Igor and Grichka Bogdanov's proposal is based on the Big Bang being pushed before Planck time).
5) Some other hypotheses simply propose that there never was a creation (eternal universe). Also not yet testable.
Well, one was (Steady State). It was, for a long time, Big Bang's main opponent. The proponents of Steady State gave the name "Big Bang" to the other theory, in derision. The name does create confusion insofar as many view the initial expansion of the primordial atom as an explosion through something (not true) instead of an expansion of the entire universe itself.
Some say that they, the Steady-Staters, did not like Big Bang (which was not called that, then) because it called for a moment of creation (therefore, a creator) and required belief in some divine intervention.

Obviously the Bible is not a science book and should not be used to answer science questions.
The big bang theory is the leading theory.
It is backed by Hubbles observation that everything is moving away from a central point, which can be observed by the red shift in the light frequencies.
Human race evolved over billions of years of adaption. You can believe that God guided that evolution or not, but saying God did it is not scientifically provable.

sorry people but I'm going with the bang,
but that's even weird to me what I thick is their are different dimensions in the same place and time but are in frequency's of their own they where disturbed by something that damaged the gravity fabric of space fluctuated back and forth, they ruptured at such a high frequency which creates heat that what made what we take as the big bang.
all of the things on the planet is made from that explosion
the particles collated at faster then light speed combining.
making everything know element all of the one that make humans and animals are the same it just take time to change not ten minuets . But you can't create matter nore destroy everything is already there. you can though make new one from the one present by mixing. the only thing that destroys matter completely is anti-matter.
just think as the time space as a hard drive when it full you have to delete that's why sun explode creates anti matter makes new space for the unknown. but its not full and well never be full. but it crashs.
evolution is true you can't just appear full grown out of noware.you evolved to adapt to. make it seem things arnt as they seem. every thing evolves.IT JUST TAKES TIME.a really long time.
what you see is just a byproduct of whats in front of ours and we pass it and see the next.
TO DEEP people, Have more but I'm stopping.
go ahead and say i'm crazy

There are about 3 main ideas that are the most widely known:
These are not listed by priority:
1. God created the world; read Genesis Chapters 1 through about 5.
downside to this theory; some people may not believe in God.
2. The Big Bang; a huge explosion that expelled matter from a center point.
downside to this theory: if there was nothing in the universe before the Big Bang, then how was the matter that made the explosion created?
3. We are an experiment/accident being monitored/abandoned by aliens.
downside; there is still no evidence that aliens exist.

You're right!!!
The bible does not make scientific sense. It is a book of faith that can't be proved or disproved. It is not scientific. If you want scientific answers that use evidence and observations, look to answers about the Big Bang, and evolution. If you want a lot of imaginary arm waving, and untestable "theories" (aka simplistic, imaginary dreams), read genesis. It makes a good story to tell small children, but it's not science.

Well...Big Bang theory can satisfy your answer. Before big bang hapenned there was no meaning of time, space, distance and dimensions and the whole mass through which the universe was formed was centered. The mass exploded and then the universe started expanding and till date it is expanding.

The Universe was engineered and created by god himself without a doubt!..A massive relative vacuum space that came to rest at Zero inches of Vacuum..( That means the Universe is already at Maximum size..
(The bare Vacuum itself, is a relative Volume energy source)

God created the Universe, and the entire human race. There is this Marvelous book named "The Bible", in the very beginning is how the universe and us were created.
