You can get a free annual credit report for each of the three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion). Don't pay their fees to get updates everyday about your credit report. Checking annually (or once ever four months if you use all three once a year) is plenty.
Hope this helps!

You get free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com but you have to pay for your score. If you just want to get your score, go to MyFico.com. There is a fee.
Creditors look at more than just your credit score. You should periodically review your report to insure it's correct.

If you go to annualcreditreport.com you can actually get the free copy of your credit report and it only costs around $5.00 to get your score as well. I would recommend getting the report if you haven't already because if you have a poor score it would help to have the report to figure out why.

Do a search online, I always see banners that tell you they'll give you your credit score. Otherwise you can contact one of the credit companies directly I think they by law have to tell you what your score is. Equifax and TRW are two of them.
