My sister had one removed when she was15 and everything was fine. I know that lowgrade birth-control helps disolve cysts. ask your mom and doctor.

Well, I had a large cyst in my ovary when I was 12. I was very lucky that it 'exploded' when I was on my way to the hospital. Therefore surgery wasn't needed anymore. Anyway, I got rid of other smaller cysts which I also had in the same area by taking some kind of medicine and by a solution which I had to put into my stomach by using a needle. That solution really hurted, but it did its job. I don't know how the medicine was called, but maybe you can ask you doc if he also has something like that for you. Good luck with it!

The cyst will not go away on its' own. Go to the doctor to have it removed. This is important because you need to know if the cyst is cancerous or not. Cyst removal does not hurt because they will either put you to sleep, or use local anesthetic.

Surgery's one of the sure ways to rid of it and then they put you on a type of med to help prevent it from re-forming. If I had a cyst and it was eventually going to take a larger tole in my life, the last thing I'd be worried about is pain. Leave it in and you'll have WORSE pain than you'd have with a surgery to get it out.

Check one week after menses to make sure if the lump gets softer. because it usually does. I'd advise you to see a doctor because the could develop into fibrocystic breast disease. To answer your question the usually just remove the cyst from your breast. But please take care of the problem soon. I don't want you to be another statastic!!!!

Gemma, the likelihood of cancer at your age is very small. But I have to tell you, delay in diagnosis and treatment can be fatal. You are practicing avoidance. It's common. But, bite the bullet and see a physician. I'd suggest an adolescent gynecologist.

you HAVE to immediately go get that cyst out because it could be breast cancer or something else that's serious. you have no way of knowing unless you go to the doctor! it's better to go through a little pain instead of letting it spread and become worse.

You have to go to doctor & don't be scared. Cyst can get worse if you don't go to doctor.

it'snot going to hurt that much. it's going to hurt much less than if you leave it in and it grows into something bigger. get it out by your Dr. there really isn't another proven way.
