Another option is that you both have a prepaid card that I have, a Readydebit prepaid card. You load your card with money, then when she needs money, you can instantly send funds to her card over the phone or on the card's website. Oh, and there's no transfer or transaction fee for this.

Currently you can't load money from a credit card, so that might not work for you, but you can load it for free from a bank account or through direct deposit.

Call your credit card company, and have them send you a cash advance checks. Send your daughter only what she needs at any one time. If you use western union you will pay a fee to with draw cash from your credit card and again to send the money, so this should be a last resort. You can go to any bank and convert up to your credit card available cash advance in cash for a fee.

Odd.. I used a credit card over the phone with western union. What you could do to avoid fees in the future ( they get a good amount) is do it the once for say $500, then get her a card on your account. It would avoid the transaction fees that western union gets and if she uses the card to purchase you get the normal credit card interest rate versus the higher rate they charge for cash advances

You can send the money western union...it will cost a lot (the fees for sending cash). Personally I have had a PayPal account for 5 years and use it regularly and have their debit card. I send money to to son on his PayPal debit card an he has it within 3 seconds or less. I use it for my on-line business also and have never had any problems with it. There is a very small fee (compared with western union) for sending money and receiving money. You have to be verified to have your monthly limit increased.

You could also send money orders but that would mean your daughter would have to wait for them to clear. Postal Money orders can be cashed instantly at any US Post Office or bank.

Don't Western Union!! That will be way too expensive. Have her get a checking account and do a funds transfer. My parents have done that before and it is sooooo much cheaper. Good Luck!!

If she can, have her get an account with the same bank.
