Seriously, Monday she bought me a box of chocolates from her trip, yesterday she bought me mac and cheese without my asking her. I don't want to be eaten.

The other day my secretary offered me a muffin for breakfast... I was really unsure how to respond.

There are people in the world called "food pushers" It may seem that they are trying to make you fat but that is not the case. Food pushers use food as a way of showing affection or caring. Food is viewed as comfort for them. Most food pushers come from families that always had an open door. The neighborhood kids hung out there, there were always people stopping by, and they were always offered food or something to drink. It's just a way of being polite. Your co-worker, in my opinion, is just trying to be nice and thoughtful. If you are a single person, perhaps they just want to make sure you get something to eat that is not fast food. And chocolates from a trip is a treat that is being shared. She probably just wants to be friends and she could possible become a very good friend. How do I know, you ask. Well, I'm a food pusher. I get great enjoyment sharing tempting treats with others.

LOL...maybe she grew up in a household where food was a way to show affection. I get the box of chocolates, but I am not sure why she would bring you the mac and cheese.

Is she heavy herself? Perhaps she wants you to join her at the buffet table and pull up a chair? hhahahahahaha Well maybe to her food is to be enjoyed, by sharing. Just say no thank you, and blame a diet or not hungry, etc.

It could be a bribe, and she might ask you for a really big favor. Beware the co-worker who hands out food!

With next month being Thanksgiving, I think only turkeys have to worry about being eaten; anyone else is paranoid.

Fatten up those around you, and you look thinner!

maybe because she was trying to get rid of them and resist the temptation. But then as she was about to throw them away thought, Hey! maybe someone else wants them.... how about my hard working co-worker! (well it beats getting eaten!)

Maybe she likes you!!! Is she pretty? lmao
Does she have other friends at work, she might just be lonely and looking for a friendship. Watch out for the fava beans and Chianti...then there's trouble.
