I feel like I've been lying to myself for quite awhile and it's become a second nature coping mechanism. I've enmeshed myself into a life that I feel like I can't escape without hurting people that I love. I'm not a drug user, just apathetic and depressed. I feel life ebbing away.

Try helping some one that needs help.

Small things--then when people smile back or say "Thank you", you may just start feeling better about yourself.

You should have some positive thoughts when going to bed. This will give your sub-concious brain something to think about while you are sleeping.

Find yourself a time for yourself like going bike riding all over it really helps being out in nature.
