when you click "view all friends", or "view online friends" what order are your friends placed in? Because it apears to be random, i just wondered.

It is not random.
In the first few friends listed, obviously, is your top friends, but everyone else after that is listed in order by their Myspace Friend ID number. Basically, they're in order by the date they joined Myspace, which is why Tom or ducky [that one famous guy with ID #2] are usually first.
If you don't know what the Friend ID is, here's an illustration:

The lower your ID number, the higher you are on the list.

In the "View all" your top friends are first and then they go by the order that they signed up for my space.
When they sign up they are given a friend ID so they go in numeric order.
EX: If your Friend ID is 2689456 and your friend (2nd Person) is 2478135 and a 3rd friend has you both as a friend but you guys are not on the 3rd persons top friends the 2nd person will be before you even if you were added before the 2nd person.
And it goes the same for the "Online friends" as well.

Normally, they are in the order in which you added them. Say, oldest to new. Sometimes they go random....

it iz bt on ur first page it iz ur top friends in the order that u put them in! :)
