if you are in fact 25 days late could be 1 of two things a) you are pregnant or B) the pill is still getting out of your system and yor hormones are messed up.
at 25 days late you are way over due to take that test, you can take it as early as 4 days before your peroid is due (if you buy the more senstive ones) otherwise the day your peroid is due you can test.
Good luck, hope you get results you are hoping for.

Taking the pill makes you unnaturally regular. Stopping the pill, takes some time for your body to get itself in sync on its own. Missing a period after stopping the pill is not unusual, and you should take other birth control measures to avoid getting pregnant the first month or two after stopping. If you're 20+ days late, by all means take a HPT, and start taking Folic Acid and vitamins immediately.

I would take an EPT now, with first of the morning urine for most accurate results. Could be the birth control, even though it's been a few months it can take a while for you to get 'normal' again.

If you want to take a test, go ahead.
When i quit taking my pills, it took almost 2 years to get a regular cycle down. It still isn't normal, keeps changing every 4 months, weird. But i does happen, your body has to adjust to either the chemical, or lack of chemical.

Take a HPT...it's worth the $10 to know. What my dr. told me about the pill is that they (dr.s) tell you to stop taking it 3 mo.s before trying to get pregnant so that they can accurately predict the birth date...not b/c it will harm the baby.

sorry if i don't write correctly, but from my own experience, if you had sex since you stopped taking birth control, you might have a problem. my advice take a test (25 days is long enough)and go to a doctor.

I doubt you are pregnant. You only stopped taking it three months ago. Plus it all depends on how long you were on BC It can take up to 6 months for it to exit your system, but if it makes you feel better take one. best wishes
