Well today on October 9th, the monitor told me that my egg has already poped out and is ready to be fertilized. This is great becuase I will have at least one fresh cycle so I can start trying again with my husdand.

Now, when something like this occurs, how do I know when my cycle will occur again? should I go back to counting 26 days as I did before or is my cycle is all over the place. Please help me with your experience.

The doctor told me not to have sex for 2 weeks and I can start again to have a baby after a fresh cycle has passed. I'm just wanting to know if my cycle was going to be somewhat normal after the 1st menstrual as passed. My husband has been away on business since my D&C and I have not had sex. But I might have sex for the first time this Saturday. It will be 11 days since my D&C just 3 days shy for the inital two weeks.

Ok since the others didn't understand your question at all, your cycle should resume (get your period) approx 14 days after ovulation. I remember how excited I was after getting my first period too, it's good to know you can get back into the game!! **My cycle has been really crazy, my hormone's are all screwed up, but my loss was very late. My first 2 cycles afterward were regular for me though. Good luck to you!!

Well you should not be TTC again if you recently miscarried. The hormones from your last pregnancy could cause another miscarriage if you recently miscarried. You need to wait at least 3 cycles before TTC again. the doctors really prefer you wait 6 months. I miscarried in July and I am ttc again. I was told to wait at least 3 cycles. Be careful., best wishes baby dust

EDIT: while pregnancy you are automatically fertile. Therfore it would show you are ovulating when you really arent.

I dont know why my information should be disregarded when I know what I'm talking about. I went through a miscarriage this is what my doctor told me. Every doctor is different and if she is truly a doctor she'd know this.

1] Disregard above info. [ yeesh ...]
2] do not have intercourse before doc gives OK [ after miscarraige, chilbirth, or any GYN surgery ]- you could develop an infection [ not saying STD, just any germ that goes up into uterus or tubes ], could damage your fertility.
3] you should wait a few cycles before trying to conceive again, to build up the lining of the uterus well.
4] eat well, take your vitamins, rest exercise as you need, and we will pray for a healthy baby and safe delivery!
