I guess this is just another way of asking can money make you happy? Which leads to another question. Can a lack of money make you unhappy or sad?

I'm not saying that I believe that money can buy happiness. However, I do believe that money is a necessity in the U.S. and the more that you have the more you are able to enjoy and experience.

As an american who has been in the work force since early 90's I can honestly say that the vast majority of stresses that I have experienced have been related to finances.

I am interested in what other's think.

Hell yes! I have everything I want in life, love, family, health, everything, except for, you guessed it, $$$! If I had money, life would be much easier. Being strapped every payday is a tough way to live. Praying you'll have enough money after bills to pay for grocery's and gas really sucks. Money does contribute to happiness, I wish I had more.
