The nice thing about a name like Andrew, is that it's not going to be on the top 10 list! My husband and I went with very traditional names for our children and it has been very nice. My name was very popular when I was born (my parents thought they were being unique!) and I hated that I always had to use my last inital. I could never be just Amanda.

So naturally, I think Andrew is a very nice name and he might actually be the only one in his class with that name!

How can a name be boring? The purpose of a name is not to entertain.

Andrew is a wonderful name.

Andrew is nice as it is part of my real name. My nephew was almost named Andrew but they chose Alex instead. Alex sounds a little more exciting & is a very classic name as Andrew is, for sophistication Alexander I think sounds kind of cool.

I only like Andrew as a middle name. When it's first name people will always shorten it to Andy which I absolutely hate.

I love that name! I don't know why someone said the name was so 80's when Andrew is a name that's in the Bible.

No, it is not boring at all.

With all due respect to the people who name their kids the 'trendy names'...I find those names to be boring, because most kids these days have a so-called 'different' or 'unique' name.

Don't worry about anyone else's opinion. Name your baby a name you love...:)
