Fog to me is sneaky and beautiful at the same time...it can creep up on you and roll over you and engulf you in it's delerium...it makes me think of an invisibility cloak, like something you can see, but only a few paces away, to slow you down, to make you use caution before you go too fast and get out of control....I used to wake up before dawn and hop on the quad runner in the country, and ride in the morning dew and fog over this rugged territory with tall grass and I would feel the wet grass slapping any available portions of my skin and would be covered in newts by the time I was done but boy was it a ride, never knew what was coming so I had to stay in a constant state of awareness and I felt like my spirit could jump right out of me at any moment...But fog is a challenge, gentle, mysterious, and I am sure because of this it holds alot of secrets of its own. That is why I love living near the water...you get to embrace the mystery alot more often. :) Take Care.-Rachel.

It's weird that you ask last nite my brother and I were at work and we stepped out side and there was fog in this field it was just sitting on top of the weeds, the fog almost looked like it was in layers.I would say it is mysterious but annoying when you have to drive through it.

I think it is very mysterious and calling. When I was a child, I would love to run out in the fog when it was sooooo thick that you couldn't see 4 ft in front of you. It was fun when you, all of a sudden, saw someone in front of you as if they magically appeared out of nowhere.

Fun times.

[I hate when people say that. I don't know if their trying too get smart or what. but depression is not like that. its not like being sad or thinking sad thoughts. its more like being half asleep, half dead, and non-feeling all the time. * 1 day ago * - 2 days left to answer. Additional Details 1 day ago casey you dont know what your talking about. how is anyone ever spose too feel poorly without getting called emo. 1 day ago casey you just dont get it. you shudnt be saying all that stuff cuz its making you look really stupid. we never said we felt sorry for ourselves. in fact i can garuntee all depressed people would pay $1 million dollars too get out of it. 1 day ago and what the hell special? i never said i felt special. u try havn it then see if u feel special.] --------------------------------------... Dear evil midget pidgeon!!!! My answer: Depression comes when a person gets shocks of failure and disappointment, and cheated by his near and dear, Not understood by friends or well wishers, but always branded as worthless person with no common sense. Hence it requires lot of support to such depressed persons, which should be sufficient to make him aspire for a new life, regain confidence, encouragement and desire to live. Simply telling to be positive may not work, because he will be at such a low ebb, that he does take cognizance of what you said to him. Forget about annoying, he fails to understand what you tell him, in the first instance. I feel very strongly against the kind of treatment the modern medicine offers. Gives him most of sedation, to make his brain sleep under sedatives. Depression continues for ever, with almost a brain dead state. It should be activation to the brain, with positive inclinations and suggestions, that is required. The depressed person should get a desire to live after seeing others happily living. Such company, stories, meditations, good words, allotting little and responsibilities which can be done by him, so that he gets confidence of doing them successfully. He should be told, nothing wrong, even if something is failed. The expectations are not forthcoming. He must always be encouraged to go a step further, giving him a support at every possible manner. I am sure, we can make him positively normal from the abnormality, not for his $1 million dollars which he is ready to offer to get out of it, but as a humanity process. May God help us in such tasks.

I love walking in a really thick fog and hearing people talking in the calmness before I see them. It is the most peaceful weather. I love it. It is very comforting.
