People who create new identities in order to report others, create confusion, spread ignorance, and speak what they really think so that their real YA! Id is not compromised?
Just curious as to the number of trolls you think do this.
Not that I really care what they think but I think it’s sad and pathetic that a person has such little going on in real life they obsess over other’s on the internet.

'Barry': like I said: "I think it’s sad and pathetic that a person has such little going on in real life they obsess over other’s on the internet."

I understand what you mean and I agree with you about the trolls and identities .. they are very childish and silly and often quite nasty.

I think I maybe have an alter ego ..not like a troll this is me! But I am a very shy person in real life and here I can say what I want to here and not have to put my brains on ice. I don't have to be shy here and I can talk to people as equal who I respect.

So yes I act differently in here than I do IRL but I'm not doing it to hurt anyone or just to be a troll.

Probably many, as this is the kind of forum that would produce some discomfort in people, for the issues that we discuss, such as R&S.
I enjoy the sarcasm from the trolls, they are funny quite often, and also welcome all opposing opinions to whatever we're commenting on, though it is sometimes strange what some people do around here.
But I'm not one to judge, this is an open forum and everyone here is entitled to do as they wish, even if it means creating confusion, spreading what some consider ignorance or are imposters. It is their freedom of choice to do so.
I come here to answer questions (even if some are reported then deleted), interact with others, learn and entertain myself.

I don't have an alter ego, I am who I am. This is a separate account for YA but that was to ensure I didn't lose a blog I been working on for like two years, group contacts, years of stuff stored in notepad and a friend's list it took years to acquire.

I can't answer your question but I do know of a couple of males who have had multiple accounts. In fact one wrote a long question where he outed himself. He is still posting her as well as his equally misgoynous friend. The interesting part about him is that he quickly accuses others of having many identities because he believes everyone to be as messed up as he is.
I really don't care what others do but there are even those who have two accounts with the same name and give themselves best answer. That I think is a bit messed up as well.
To be honest with you I am currently getting quite busy with my other projects and don't really care. When you actually care and get involved in the phoney drama is when you seriously should seek some mental health assistance.

i don't consider myself a troll, but i used to have an alter ego.
i don't use it much anymore, i made it out of curiosity--it's male. interesting results i observed...
i'm very careful to not allow the two to overlap (answer or vote or even thumb my own questions with the other).

yes, just the one that i haven't used in weeks.
not *FIVE* others like some paranoid people have tried to peg on me. (which i actually think that they are behind...)
trolls do it all the time. and use them all, regardless of the "overlap".

There are those who believe I do and oh are they wrong.
Yet, there is another me floating around, Actually she is me. Perhaps by now she's finally gone to the life beyond all computer realm and has burst into the tiny pariticles which lie in the cosmos.
Two believe that I am lying and perhaps they wish me to come forward and admit I am a man; oh if only I could. Well, for now they can keep the Champagne on ice and celebrate another day.
Oh and yep both of me are not men, see when we walk we have these thar hitches in our get alongs. Never seen a fella who had one.

Just like Johno, I only use this one. I'll only create a new one if this one gets deleted. And it would probably be the antithesis of Rainbow.

I think everyone is who they say they are.
