is to be thin woman, nothing else really matter. The face and hair is irrelevant or just a plus. It can be jacked up if the body remains slender.

I just seems that way in the internet and the real world.

I think the standards are hard to live with for most,,but I think many countries are like that...

I think of the old centuries when plump meant they were pleasing to eye ...I guess cuz that meant they were weathy enough to afford food and not starving ..

one of the reasons I like the internet is ...you have to go by personality before looks usually (unless they have a cam)...People can talk and get to know each other before they judge on looks...It gives people more reasons than just physical to be attracted to each other ... I know of some that actually met on here and fell in love and were very overweight and wouldn't probably have a chance if they were seen before getting to understand and love them for the real person inside....
But thinner people usually are much healthier,,and thats a good thing... Guess it's just the way it is and we aren;'t going to change it ....

I think you are hanging around the wrong people.
I am not skinny..I'm a perfect size 16 and I've been told my entire life how pretty I am. I have a very handsome, fit husband that adores my curves as well as my crooked nose and every other imperfection.
I think it's more a matter of if you accept those small minded opinions or not. I never have and therefore they don't affect me. I've always had Men asking me out and been complimented by Women. If you walk with your head high and know that you are perfect the way you are...then that is how others will perceive you.

I like a pretty face to go along with the slim woman. Due to taking a drug for awhile, I had to cut down to one meal a day and tiny snacks, but I made sure my weight didn't go skyhigh. Now I am off the drug, and back down 25 pounds and I feel so light when I walk around. My point is that it is probably possible for most people to be thin, but they have to apply themselves. In my case, I weighed myself after every meal, and stopped eating for the day if I went above the point that I had decided to stop at. I did not always dislike overweight women, but once I picked up a woman at a dance and took her home. After she undressed, I felt obligated to complete the sexual act, although her huge stomach disgusted me. I never wanted to get in to that situation again, so I don't date women that are 5 or 10 pounds overweight anymore. I also have the feeling that fat people are unhealthy, and so I would rather not get involved with them. Now that is me. Other men have other experiences and other reasons for their preferences which are quite different from mine. I just felt like sharing my problem, and I guess it is a problem, because I tend to overlook possible friends just because they do not meet my sexual stereotypes.

Thin is fashionable in the media and with those easily impressed with the media - granted this seems to be a majority. However, hair, face and other features are factored in as well i.e. a woman with a really ugly face or greasy, unkempt hair would not be considered attractive even if she was thin.

There are many people that find more healthy and body shapes to be more attractive than thin.

yeah it does seem that way
if you have it all going for you and an extra 10 or 20 god forbid 30 or 40
a big portion of society will not feel comfortable finding you attractive.

film and tv , magazines have said that it is not ok to be fat or even average sized...and hence set the beauty mark at around 110-115lb ... people turn to the media for cues and since avg to lg is out, so is feeling comfortable finding women who arent thin attractive at all....
i think there are a lot of men attracted to women who are not as thin as the ones they pursue
it doesnt mean that people arent out there loving these women simply that we have been made to feel uncomfortable by popular theory

The media has, until recently, made American women think that they must be very thin to be considered beautiful.

In California, being overweight is taboo.

There are many thin women who are ugly inside and out.

There are many heavy women who are gorgeous.

If you watch tv or read magazines, yes, the model/actress rules the WORLD, and looking like her is what most girls want in life. It messes with our self-images.

Many men are attracted to women who DON'T look like they jumped out of a Maxim magazine. Good for them.

only for people who fall into the media hype and believe that stuff. any woman can be attractive, especially if she has the money to get the right fashions, make up, etc.

what matters not how a woman look likes ,but how she thinks, from my point of view, all women are cute, you just need the talent & faculty to discover where their beauties lie.
