Maybe back in the old days. I've seen dark skinned AKAs and light skinned Deltas, Zetas etc.

They're all lame to me, though I definitely capitalized off their parties.

Yeah It Used To Be That People From Certain Races Where In Each One, But I Dont Think Its Like that Now. Some frats May be Predomintly Black Or White But Thats Probs because Of The Old Laws.....

It is somewhat old fashioned but nonetheless true. It really depends on what part of the country you are in and the local attitudes on "colorism" and race relations.

Back in the day it was the rule.

Yeah it use to be, I think you had to be like a certain color, that might be why they picked my mom and not her friend back when she went to college, IT IS SO STUPID. My mom declined the offer to the sorority because she didn't like the girls in it and also because they didn't pick her friend.
