That would be a very expensive meal for your oscar! The long, tassley fins of your beta would be irresistable to the pacus for nibbling as well. The only time betas really work in a community tank is when you have lots of cover for them (they like to hide), and fish who are not known for fin-nipping such as tetras.

1. Sure you CAN.
2. If the oscars big enough, and it will be if it's not now, yes.
3. Pacus are huge, yes, so not a good idea.
Put the betta in a 2-5 gallon tank with a heater and leave the oscar and pacus in their 100 gallon tank. Oh, wait. You didn't give their tank size.

You can. Should you? Only if you want to A) get rid of your betta and B) feed your oscar. Oscars WILL eat smaller fish EVERY TIME.

I wouldn't suggest it - bettas and oscars are both very aggressive fish and they could potentially fight eat other literally to death. I don't know much about the pacus, but either way - I wouldn't try it.

Only if you want your beta to be lunch. As soon as it fits in that oscars mouth its GONE. Oscars mouths are bigger than you think.
