I support unions, but then I'm a liberal. I was really surprised to hear the republican candidates give unions a ringing endorsement.

Not really, but then again, I don't not support them. I just don't see that the federal government has any reason to support or not support them either - agreements between labor and management, between employee and employer are not the federal government's business.

That said, the union that should be outlawed is any government employee union, especially a federal employee union. There is no reason for those.

I hate it when politicians pander. It's condescending and intellectually dishonest. Unfortunately, far too many voters eat these falsehoods up.

Yes like Jerry C said, Unions are obsolete, now that we need to work to reduce wages to compete with communist countries. /end sarcasm

Yes I support all unions, who aren't supporting illegal immigrant laborers. Without them, most Americans wouldn't be able to afford what we make, just like the Chinese.

I don't support any unions. They are a drain on the workers and companies that they have been forced on.

Unions had their place at one point in time, but that has long since passed.

I think they are necessary for worker's rights but like most things need to be watched carefully for corruption.
