I know this is an old, O-L-D song but if someone could help I'd appreciate it...

What is the spanish phrase from Freddy Fender's "Before the Next Teardrop Falls"?

I've been listening to this song since I was a little kid and have always liked it (its in the cd player as I type, as a matter of fact). Unfortunately, I went to a school where there werent any other languages taught other than English and that wasnt done very well as it was!

It's almost it's own language lesson.

Freddy (aka Baldemar Huerta) sings the first stanza in English, then later sings that same first stanza in Spanish word-for-word.
