A great old style Italian Restaurant is Little Italy in Castle Hills

It's a great place and last time I made a list of Italian restaurants on here I left it off, because I haven't been able to get there for a while, but it is always wonderful! I used to live in Castle Hills and went weekly and was on the mailing list, but we have moved many times since then. Old style Italian restaurant with both the ambience and flair of a classic Italian restaurant. The appetizers are unique. The Calamari is delicious! Both classic pizza and italian favorites. Main courses are fantastic and filling. The desserts are to die for and a world class wine selection to go with it all. The Visacaro family has established themselves well and definitely set out to treat their customers well. Moderately priced it's well worth the visit. The only drawback is on weekends and special occasions (Valentines Day in particular) can prove to be a test of patience due to the wait times often encountered but still well worth the wait.

Paisono's has intense rankings, yet i do no longer think of it particularly is one I even have eaten at. We bypass to San Antonio particularly circumstances and located an astonishing Northern Italian eating place with super wine checklist hidden in a miles off corner of the walk next to a brilliant inn (regrettably i'm poor with names). finding on Google, i think of that it particularly is maximum possibly Michelino's at 521 River walk. You being there , you may desire to verify it out—even though it replaced into genuine Italian (we live in Chicago). i'm confident you're additionally accustomed to Boudro's (no longer—Italian yet i comprehend that call for confident) which has an astonishing lunch and that they make clean guacomole table area. i wish to be there lower back quickly and revisit those places and write down there names. wish you savor..

I don't know any great NY style of authentic Italian restaurants, but I know some "alright" ones. Paesano's Restaurant on the river walk is pretty good but is mostly about the atmosphere and is great place for a date. La Focaccia Italian Grill at 800 S Alamo St was one of my favorite places. The environment is good and food is pretty good. Michelino's on the river walk isn't that expensive and the food is alright.

For great pizza -- to go only -- Pizza Classico on Broadway. delivery or pick up -- pick up your order and get another pizza free.
Napoli's at 12234 Nacogdoches-- used to be in Universal City. The soups are great! The entrees are very fresh. Reviews here:

In Cibolo, on Main Street -- an excellent "hole in the wall" -- Catalano's -- positively reviewed in the Express-News. Flavor AND value! The pizza is great, and there is an all-you-can eat buffet on Wednesday nights. I like the homemade focacia bead. Reviews here:

If I could eat only the soups from Napoli's and the focacia bead from Catalano's, I would live happily.
A bonus about Catalano's: a block away is Harmon's Barbecue, about the best in the state.

Caparelli's is really good. It is a Ma and Pa type place but is a chain too. I love the antipasto and the carbonera
