Is this the reason they scooped every US intelligence agency? Or is this something else? Maybe a personal and private propaganda agency.

So now they claim the leaking of their identity has ruined the organization.
You want to bet that they close up shop?

The whole world is "outsourced", there is no sovereignty!
There is no US government anymore, we are all part of the NWO, and for you people saying there are no WMDs in Iraq obviously don't know that depleted uranium munitions that the USA is using REGULARLY, is a weapon of mass destruction! http://educate-yourself.org/cn/depleteduraniumandafghanbabies29apr06.shtml
Osama is a joke. Real terrorism is being done by our own government! Wake up people!
here is another site about the effects of depleted uranium munitions!! http://www.rense.com/general70/du.htm
and another... http://uruknet.info/?p=m36757&s1=h1
So there are weopons of mass destruction in Iraq. WE BROUGHT THEM THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U serious, I thought that one of them was photoshop as well. But the truth about the issue is very real. It has been widely reported around the world, reuters, associated press, and many other international news stations. The same thing is happening to all the troops with gulf war syndrome, they too are having deformed children. It is proven that DU causes radiation and gene deformities. Look it up yourself, just dont expect to see it on fox news or cnn. DU is poison, and we are admittedly using DU weopons. Cant you see that these are the same dirty bombs we were told to fear. We are spreading radiation all over the middle east. Our soldiers will also suffer from DU. The truth is out there on this issue and most of these deformed children are documented cases.

Intelligence operations have always been 'outsourced' in certain areas. If you want high level information from a foreign country, you're not going to get it by sending in an American, you'd recruit a well placed locals. There is the danger of their loyalty being divided, that they are a double agent, or they're completely loyal to their own country and are working counterintelligence, but that's why you don't rely on one source, and ideally you keep your sources ignorant of the other's existence, and of course they're existence can't be common knowledge.

Actually, it's worse. SITE is a volunteer organization. The leaking of the video caused the terrorist site that it was copied from to shut down, meaning no more information can be gained there.

But yes, since US Intel didn't appear to know where the video they released to the white house came from or how it was obtained.
Must not be a priority.
Al least not as much as PR is a priority.

I do not think it was outsourced. I think it was more like "see something say something".

WH is on the other hand is politicizing it. It is not looking to find terrorists , it is just trying to win the battle against Democrats. Notice that the release was close to Petraus testimony. WH has a screwed up priories , stop fighting Americans start fighting terrorists.

Although, I am somewhat sceptical on why SITE gave this info to WH instead of FBI (somekind of law enforcement agency).

Heck, we might as well outsource our intelligence - our intelligence was wrong about WMDs. We outsource our military... why stop there? Our government is no longer working for "we the people", perhaps it's time to outsource our government too!

Just the opposite little girl. Getting outside contracts allows one to go deeper into enemy territory. U.S. intelligence does not specialize in computer networking, SITE does. It is the more intelligent thing to do. Just like the Military does not build it's equipment. It outsources those tasks to those who can do it better.

It's further evidence of how much damage the bush administration and its desire to go to war with Iraq has done to the intelligence community. Many of the best and most experienced operatives and senior officials have left the CIA due to cheney's interference with their operations and promotion of yesmen who lied in order to justify the invasion.

Believe me, what you think those SITE people know isn't 1/10th of what the government knows. I've been in the military with a high security clearance and what I know isn't a drop in the bucket to what the government knows. You really have no clue as to what you're talking about.
