Not surprising to anybody with an IQ higher than single digits. Dems will not pull out the troops under their watch..they want it under Bush's instead. That way, they can all point their fingers at him....well guess what, it ain't gonna' happen and the Dumbs know it. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place and have no way of backing out now. Too funny to watch them squirm...

"And for them to know u don't support what they are doing is harsh. I believe whether u think the war is right or wrong u should still have a little support for them. A few people I know (also marine spouses) were considering doing a protest as well. But our signs will say something like "Support our Troops", etc to show them we care. How many of u think this is a good idea?" You think it is bad now? You should have had to sneak back from Vietnam in the middle of the night at Travis! What you see is MILD! 1st, don't take it personal! I learned that long ago. They are demonstrating against the war and trying to get the mission changed so fewer body bags come home. It was the College kids and Kent State massacre by the Nat'l Guard, that helped bring Vietnam to a close. I don't support the war, but I guarantee I support the troops more than many on here that just support the war! When you are talking about supporting the troops, with Agent Orange causing 7 different types of cancers, all fatal, It took Vietnam Vets 21 years and winning 6 different times, the last in 2007 by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, to get what we deserved! Our own VA was fighting us, dragging their feet. Then you have those who tried to eliminate combat pay, cut widow's benefits in 1/2, cut the VA budget in 2006 (3 years into a war) by 1 BILLION to give tax cuts to the rich (who in their right mind would do that with the VA treating 200,000 Iraqi Vets?, and the VA is dragging its feet again at the behest of the administration in rehearing those people with inhuries who were denied benefits!! Look at what someone did too Walter Reed by farming jobs out to private corporations to make a profit, while the injured were not being treated correctly Before slamming those who are apposed to the war, for most it is we did not belong their in the first place and no one should have been killed in Iraq, including 65,000 confirmed civilians! A recent study suggested that as many as 1/3 or more in Iraq suffer from PTSD today! Let me ask you, how many tours, back to back to back, do you think a service person can pull? Some they have even kept in past their contract dates so they could send them to iraq again. Most of these people are not against you at all, which is different than Vietnam. Go to the last question I asked and see what the VA did to us, and to Gulf vets suffering from exposure to Sarin gas that they stupidly were told to burn! And also remember, a yellow magnet means nothing if you put nothing behind it! And most people don't! We even had to raise enough money among mostly Vets, to put that black hole in the ground containing names of 58, 225 PEOPLE who were killed in Vietnam! Just cause they demonstrate with you doesn't mean anything if they stab you in the back, which has been most of the military’s experience for over 40 years! The military is a small fraternity and they watch each others backs! I would rather they be home so it would be easier! "only people closely associated with the military can see pacifists for what they are" and talk to the Legion. I love the guys but they are not war vets. Talk to the VFW! Pacifist? I am a pacifist? I spent 8 years active in the Army with 2 tours in Korea and 1 in Vietnam! Does that sound like a pacifist to you?

Cindy Sheehan is a nutcase.
The problem in Congress isn't the Democrats. Nor is it even the majority of Republicans. The problem is two-fold. One is the block of right wing Repubs who still support Bush. The other is the so-called "base"of the GOP--which has made it clear they will target, smear, and try to destroy any Republican that doesn't crawl to Bush.
Unfortunately, the majority of Republicans--who ARE opposed to the Iraq war--still haven't worked up the nerve to stand up to Bush and his lockstep followers.
Well--they have a choice. They can either stand up to Bush--or ve voted out a year from now. It should be obvious to everyone--even the Bush supporters--that the American people have had enough.

Nobody represents the majority of the US population.
Just one more example why we need a third political party.

It does not surprise me this is the same bitach that said "impeachment was off the table"
There is no longer a fundamental difference in either party and in how this country is governed, its corrupt from the top down.

Always amazed at how angry liberals get if they do not get what they want on one subject right now. Try holding your breath and kicking your feet while on your back.
