Um.. don't listen to that first guy. He obviously has no idea what is going on. While there is a possibility that you had a miscarriage, another likely scenario is that your having some horemone fluctuations that cause irregular period.
In any case if you did have a miscarriage early on in a pregnancy it happens often and there is nothing that a woman can do about that. If you are trying to have a baby take good care of yourself and don't let the things idiotic people say upset you. Good luck

Although it is very hard to say, it could be your pregnant now.. Sometimes, at least with me, I bled twice and was.. If you have large discharge and alot of cramping with it, then you may have lost the baby, but I would see a doctor. A miscarriage is usually with alot of sheding of the uterus. So lots of clots and cramps.. Depending how far along you were..
But this is also sysptoms of something being wrong, so do make an appointment..
Good Luck..

Bleeding when you are pregnant can happen but it is not normal. You should have experienced extended serious cramping at some point which would have been similar to labor. Not sure how far long you were, but you need to see a doctor to make sure that your cervix is closed back up (if it was a miscarriage.)

Yes it is possible that you did have a m/c. Many people have them without even knowing that they are pregnant. The is really no specific reason why it happens. I had one when I was 6 wks along and did a lot of research on it. I would say since your period lasted longer that you very well may of had one. It is hard to tell for sure when it happens without being very far along.

did you test for a preg. just before that experience??? if yes and it was positive then that could be it, but if you did not test to find out or if you did not miss any of your pds then it could be just a side effect of a contraceptive if you were using any and its better to visit your local clinic to find out whats up with you. all the best

could be alot of women never even know when they have a miscarriage unless they knew they were pregnant before it happen. there are of course other possibilities, with a miscarriage you would have noticed alot of cramping, lots of clots and tissue, and it would have been pretty heavy, if that is what happen or close to then it could have been.

Only your doctor would know for sure.
There are other causes for heavy menstrual cycles besides miscarriages. I'd say it's time for an exam.

It depends on your age, as well. I had a heavy period for nine days when i was in my young twenties. My periods were irregular so I got on the pill. Just see your doctor or free clinic.
