i work with this guy who can be a real jerk sometimes, i dont like him as much like i used to, anyways all i want is for him to be nice to me, he heard from someone i was trying to get him fired, and i said i dont want you fired, all i want is for you to be nicer to people, thats all and he denied being mean so i told him (to have more prove hes a jerk and its not all in my head) i'm not the only one who thinks your mean , he insisted to know the names, and i said i'm not going to tell you,its confidential, he kept badgering me , and i'm sick of going to the managers on this guy so i made him promise me that he wouldnt say anything to that person that thinks he's a jerk if i told him and he said he wouldnt so i told him who it was that is sick of his attitude, anywho when that person came to work that guy said "i need to talk to you" and i was right in front of him, after he promised he wouldnt say anything ,he did, that person is now upset and this guy said he was just joking

If she was really that good of a friend and could trust you to keep a secret, then I think you blew it!! I wouldn't be expecting her anytime soon to be telling you anything secretive again. What made you break that trust so easily? You shouldn't have told this guy and if he was bothering you that much you should have reported him for harrassment. The best you can do is be very sincere in your apology to her, (maybe take her out for dinner or lunch) and explain to her that your sorry you said anything and it will never happen again.

Ever hear the phrase - no one likes a tattle tale? You are in a stew of your own brewing. There is no law that says your coworkers have to be "nice to you" and running to management and playing "nobody" likes you games is childish.

Grow up and act like an adult, if you don't like someone that is your perogative but there is no law against being a jerk. Ever think he might think you're the one being the jerk?

Rule Number One: Don't worry about whether people are nice to you or not, just do your job; if other people interfere with your ability to do your job, then go through the chain of command to resolve the situation.

Rule Number Two: When someone tells you something in confidence, do not repeat it to anyone.

Rule Number Three: Refer back to the other two rules.

You added fuel to the already-burning fire in your office by spilling the beans. YOU can get fired for that, didja know?

I'd PROFUSELY apologize to the guy whose confidence you violated, and I'd consider this a lesson learned. Your issues with someone are your own, and you shouldn't drag others' names into it.

Worry more about your work and less about making nice with people. AND ITS ANYWAY NOT ANYWAYS. I fear for the future with people who write like that.

Tell him to lick your ***! I would just ignore him, and if he tried to talk to you just walk away, and if he still won't quit kick him in the nads, and tell your boss he touched your boob LOL. Gotta do something!!

Stop gossiping and chatting like this. Do your job.
And please don't say "anyways;" it's anyway.
