Welcome to puberty! You are experiencing what everyone experiences sooner or later. Just be a good friend. Sometimes people grow away from friendships because interests change once a person matures or begins to mature into an adult. Don't worry about it. Enjoy this time because once you get out of school, you'll have few opportunities to be young again. Make new or more friends by bringing new people with diversified interests into your circle. That way if interests change, you will still have people in the group who can help you to keep them together. Discuss things and issues but don't gossip. Keep your word and be a friend. Things will work out fine.

Think of yourself as starting in Kindergarten and you had to find friends. Everything was knew to you back then also, but everything worked out okay. The same thing will happen in secondary school. Ask Jesus to help you find friends and do not be nervous and trust the Lord. The Lord always helps us and He works everything together for our good.

Always remember that when a new crowd of people get together, they are more interested in the impression they are making on the rest of the group that they won't have time to be critical of you.
It takes time for a group to form properly and is an interesting experience to watch when you know all about it.
Just be yourself, and be friendly but firm. Don't let yourself be nominated as the "scapegoat" - there will be one, believe me.

Join something. What are you interested in? There's bound to be a club within the school you can join. Once you share a hobby or interest with some of the others, it won't seem quite so frightening.
