After that buggy habit, it started slowing down and became like a Pentium 2 computer. The laptop is only 7-months old and also free of virus and spyware (Checked with McAfee virus shield which comes with spyware).

The programs which I installed into it does not cause the problem as I have previously installed it inside my normal computer.

The programs which I installed in the laptop has the same programs as the computer.

We had a similar problem with one of our laptops. We determined that it would slow down to P2 speed because it was running hot. You can diagnose the problem by getting a system monitoring utility. It should display CPU clock, CPU temperature, Battery charge/discharge rate, and HDD temperature (see link).

As far a fixing the problem. The DELL guy has already replaced the board and today he replaced the chip. If it still doesn't work, he said they will swap the drive into a new computer.

Are you connected to a wireless router? The router itself may be having problems. We had to replace our router last weekend because the internet kept going in and out at random times.
