It's my name and I guess you'll find it unusual because it's an Arabic name. I've never really liked it but I don't dislike it either but I was just wondering what people's opinions are on it, especially as it's an unusual name here.
It means 'eternal' by the way.

in Arabic it's pronounced differently, but english speakers pronounce it as 'kuh-lee-dah' , so yep you got it right

the name is not bad at all,it depends on the way it is pronounced,if the first part of the name,that is "kha" is given some emphasis rising the "a",then it is good.if the name is
pronounced with no difference in ryhtm in voice,then it's not that good.as we name it in arabic "almada" that is the emphasis of the "a" and the lenghtening of the voice.i don't know where i came with those explanations....i hope i made myself understood.to conclude your name is beautiful.
