Well I am not sure of the numbers that would back up the claim of most, and the same can be true of conservatives. I would say that what makes most Americans that have not succeeded at life is lack of work ethic and ambition. This is the land of opportunity and many people, libs and cons, take advantage of that opportunity and succeed. The ones that don't in general terms are because they either quit trying, never tried or quite frankly don't care. I have seen many, many people that would rather sit home and watch tv and collect some sort of aid, then actually earn it. I can drive down a unknown block and I bet I can point out with some degree of certainty who is receiving a handout and who is not. Not by the house, or the car they drive, simply by the condition of their lawn. Try it... You would be surprised.
