I know what you mean, though. I lived overseas for many years and came back to the States and people were still watching, "The Price is right", and there was Bob Barker, only much older than I remembered him, and with white hair. Very funny. And when I lived in Osaka Japan for five years there was the famous Naniwa Camera Shop, with a statue of the owner standing out front offering deals to customers, and he has White Hair.
I saw a Photo of how that neighborhood once looked in the '50's and the same shop was there only the statue had Black Hair.. Oh well, we call that a successful businessman.

People are still talking about him because he JUST retired not too long ago..and he has been a very famous icon for how many years?..and just because he retired doesn't mean that people will automatically stop talking about him..Interesting story from Japan, by the way..have a good day and please let me wish PEACE to you and your loved ones..:0)

recent law suit from a former member of the staff and he did a nice thing for an elephant in alaska moving it to a warmer climate.
he is still popular

Yes he did retire, but hand the guy some toliet paper... he's the shyt!
