so yesterday he came home from work and said.."hey,don't cook anything tomorow i am going out with my friends." i said okay and asked who is he going out to eat with? he got mad and said why do ukeep on asking me? and i was like i was just curious that it.
after this happened he went to workout and while he was out he got this IM ( i was on his account to change some internet settings)..that said " r u ready for tommorow?..Sarah( a girl!!)"
when he got home ..we talked...fooled around and i asked him again "hubby,who r u going out with?" and he goes " i told you." i said no so he says he is going out with mike.( a guy).
why would he lie to me?
is he cheating on me?

Well, we know he lied. I mean I guess we do...it's possible he met her in some chat room and there is some event going on tomorrow and was wondering if he would show up "in the chatroom" or something. More than likely though, he is lying. So, you need to first of all face that and allow yourself to be angry. Try not to be hurt, because then you can fall into a depression about it. Realize that you have a right to be angry and you deserve better.
Then, before he leaves you should say something like...Tell Sarah "your wife" said hi. See what he does. I am normally not that mean, but you know what...sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I am sick of these people who think it is okay to lie/cheat and get by with it.
Be strong and know that you will get through this...I have faith in you!

I Suck, he may very well not be cheating on you at the present but he may be planning on it or possibly fantasizing doing so by meeting up with this female. But you as his wife are playing games not only with him but also yourself by not confronting him on what you saw on his IM. Have a good and honest heart to heart to see why he wasn't being 100% with you. Also try and find out if there are problems in your relationship that you are not aware of and then the two of you can either try and work on them or make some kind of decision as to what needs to happen. He could be going out for dinner with Sarah on a business meeting or something or perhaps planning something special for you but it doesn't sound like it from your question. Try and get to the bottom of it and find out what is happening. Best of luck.

Sounds like he is cheating on you. Why else would be get angry when you ask who is going out with and then have some girl IM him. He probably didn't even go to the gym, he probably went to see her and then came home and fooled around with you. That's what he wants... to be married to you but fool around with 2 women.

Hmm. I don't know, but I would keep a close eye on him. He DOESN'T HAVE to let you know where he is going, but you are his wife so he shouldn't have anything to hide. You don't know that this Sarah girl went out with him. She could be a co worker...don't jump the gun yet. Just sit back and watch.

Girl you just caught him, dont "wonder" if he is cheating, you just had a sign slap you in the face! Confront him ASAP! Better yet, get on his account and talk to the Sarah chic and make out like you are him and see what you can find out before you confront him! Cause I can PROMISE he is bout to lie his butt off!!!!

well can t get any clearer... he might not yet cheated but is planning to... and you must not cook for him very often only if he asks you to do so, so he is probably mad and said dont worrie dont cook for me tommarrow, the other one must be trying to capture him so she cooks for him,so it seem s to me that he is,seeing someone, and off course you will be the last one to find out,,and about the email boy are you dumb no offense i would have played along and answered back, i would have said hi and she said dont forget about tommarrow, and ill say i wont and what else are we going to do? that sort of thing and then i would confront him....

you should have ask sarah if she knew he is married? If he has to lie about who he is going out with then yeah he is cheating, unless he is planning you a big surprise and sarah is a party planner.
I never get upset if my wife asks me who did I do out to eat with cause i have nothing to hide...

I can't believe ur even asking. The signs are all there. Why would he cheat? Cuz hes a man, and men do that when they either want more sex or the wife doesnt make him feel as good as they once did.

If he's lying about this "friend" he's going out to eat with there is a high possibility that if he hasn't cheated already he's planning on it. If there was nothing going on between them he wouldn't feel like he had to keep it from you.
