Yeah. You have to wait to cool the cake and brush off the crumbs, then wrestle with the frosting. I prefer to use marshmallow rolled fondant icing. Much easier.

Yes i have, In fact lately i have frosted a few. I am taking a cake decorating class and frosting the cake is a big part, and i love it.

Yes. When I frosted my first layer cake it came out so pretty. I carried it into the living room to show my mom and sisters. I sat it on one end of the piano bench, and was so proud. Everyone gathered around, oooing and ahhing... Until my little sister sat on the other end of the bench upsetting the balance of the piano bench and sending my cake flying up and onto the floor. I was 12 and she was 11 and we laugh about it to this day. I love you, Karen.

I have frosted cakes lots of times the easiest frosting to deal with it homade cream cheese frosting. The last cake I frosted though was for my friend's anniversry
