I have a 99 Civic DX Hatchback. I just received my header and exhaust system which bolts right on with no welding needed. I also bought a set of 2 jack stands, roll bed, and jack. I also have 2 OEM Honda Jacks which are in perfect condition. I just want to know if I can lift the complete car with only 2 jack stands and 2 jacks.

If you use the jack stands under the front and the jacks under the rear, you should be alright. Please be careful, jacks aren't the best way to hold up a car.

Ususally I have found Jack stands placed on a single side of the car to be more useful,

I have used a jack to get a quick job done but it is not advisable only to use a jack for support. Always use a jack stand under a stable part of the frame to keep it safe.

I once had a heavy car fall off a jack and fortunately I was only repairing brakes keeping my legs free from underneath the car. I was not hurt.

If the car is on a slight incline point the one edge of the stands base toward the downward slope. Always use a block of wood or brick ect under tires which are still on the ground on the slope side of incline especially.
I found a dremmel cutter to be valuable to cut off bolts and exaust pipes in sections. Use goggles.

Be safe and use reason - do not use shortcuts.

I do not advise that you lift the entire car off the ground at one time.

You can do it with the jack stands and two jacks, but from a safety standpoint I would purchase or borrow two more jack stands or even some concrete blocks to help support the car. Removing the old exhaust will require some pulling, twisting and probably even some pounding so having the car safely raised is paramount to your well being.
You can replace the exhaust system but not yourself. Don't take unnecessary risks.

Golden rule... always consider where the car will land if the jacks fail, if it is onto you then no. Jacks do fail at some point. Just not worth the risk. better to buy two more stands or work the front first and back last if possible.

I would not trust any jack holding up a car especially if i am under it. jack stands are cheap, just got get two more. If you are by yourself and the car shifts when you are wrenching or the jacks fail, you are crushed. A small price to pay to save your life.

No, no jack. Your life or any body parts worth more then two additional jack stands.

I wouldn't.

Jack stands are a lot cheaper than a hospital bed.
Go buy two more.
