Last night, just as we were falling asleep my fiance sits up and is crying and mumbling about how he never thought he'd think of this.... and when i asked what he was talking about he revealled that he's been contemplating suicide.... He was going crazy and really scaring me: rolling around the edge of the bed and on his knees on the floor, not forming full sentences, just that he couldn't handle it and that he couldn't breathe..... at one point he said he didnt love me bc he doesnt love himself....this went on for about 10 LOOOOONG minutes...until i finally got him to sit up and talk to me.... with tears in both our eyes I tried to get him to come around... he started apologizing and saying he just cracked and that he is truly in love with me (he also said he was dreaming)..... . We r currenty waiting to test to c if I am pregnant and I'm terrified of what a baby would do to us, to him. I don't know what to think about last nights episode, what do i do?!

Well, find out if you're pregnant right away. It could be that this pregnancy was unexpected and he is fearful of the future with this unplanned surprise. He could have been having a mild panic attack and due to the heavy emotional toll he is under at the current time, was not able to filter what he was saying as opposed to thinking, and said things he probably would not have otherwise. It sounds like you two have quite a bit of preparing to do and a child at this time will make things much more stressful on you both. Good luck to you.

Having to face the consequences of our actions is VERY SCARY sometimes.

Sounds a little like a panic attack. Wanting to run away, feeling there is no place to hide.

You both need some support of some kind to help you through this. Men tend to hold things in. Not talk about their feelings etc and yet, they still have the feelings. They still think the thoughts, it can be a tough place to be.

A trained councilor will help you to sort through all the issues at hand and advise you how to takle the next steps.

Many people have been in the exact position you both are. It is a VERY COMMON situation. You are not alone and you dont need to do it ALONE. could be that the coucilor has been in a similar position themselves.

Beg him to get professional medical help ASAP for the future of all of you. This is something that he will not be able to solve alone and even with all you loving best offers to help him get through it, it will take someone famillar with this type of situation. Someone who can get to the inner core of the issue. Good luck!!!!!

i think you two need to go for consoling. he might be scared. or he might be bipolar. and not know what's going on inside his head and why. i don't know for sure. but seriously look into him getting some counsoling.
