every year i start looking too late and no one has it, this year i want to get it now, but home depot doesn't have any.

You can purchase burlap at just about any fabric store. If your Wal-Mart has a fabric department then they will most likely have burlap. It is a staple in the fabric world and shouldn't be that difficult to find and that is especially true around Halloween.
Make sure you check your local fabric stores if your Wal-Mart does not have a fabric dept.

Try the large grocery stores produce department. Some may get their potatoes in burlap sacks. Also, you might try a convenience store that roast peanuts. I use to have a convenience store and I sold roasted peanuts. I got my peanuts in a burlap bag. (50 lbs)

Use an old sheet instead or visit a resale shop and purchase a used sheet you dont care it is gets dirty or wet.
